Welcome to our farm! We have lived in this area which is just south of Calgary, Alberta since 1993. At that time, we purchased 80 acres of farm land on which we developed our home place which consists of our home, a garage & shop, fencing, various pens and a large 120‘x 30‘ barn which is insulated, heated, fluorescent lighting, sun light panels & water hydrants, etc. We have grain and hay on about 70 acres of this land and recently purchased another 160 acres of grain land adjoining our original 80 acres. We have a wonderful view of the Rocky Mountains from our home. Both my husband, Ron, and I originally worked off farm as well as owned and raised various alternative meat animals such as ostrich, goats, sheep, chickens. We purchased our first miniature horses, our stallion (Bucky) and our mare (Gypsy) in 1997 as pets.

I retired in 2002 and planned on staying at home to work with the animals. However, arthritis in my hands and carpal tunnel surgery was just around the corner and after the surgery, I had trouble lifting anything heavy with my hands. Ron did a lot for me but there came a time when we decided on selling our meat animals and just kept our miniature horses for pleasure and to graze down the areas.

In 2004 I acquired another mare and then decided to breed both of my mares. As a result, 2005 found us with 2 new adorable foals. I continued to breed my mares and now have 9 miniatures who all have correct conformation and wonderful dispositions. Another mare is due to  "1st time" foal this June 2009. Each is carefully maintained. I am sorry to say that I never shown my horses but their backgrounds are from very good bloodlines from USA and Canada.

In 2006, Ron injured himself and has not worked off farm since then. We are able to do much less than we used to.
Please have a look at all of our pages and see our horses and driving cart for sale. The registered horses would make an excellent new line for many peoples herds and the unregistered horses will make wonderful pets for farms and acreages as well as great driving horses. My horses farrier has always said he's seen a lot of little horses and what good legs and feet my horses have.

All of my horses are basically from my own stock and therefore, you can see parents, sisters, brothers, and half sisters & half brothers as well. Please have had a look at our site on the following pages.
